Nicknamed Lieots, they are wolves crossed with lions and bears. The males have a thick mane, and most have short tails. It is extremely rare for one to have a full, long feathery tail, though it is possible. There is a group apart from the others with long tails. These Lieots are known as Type M Lieots. "M" for "Mutated". The Type M Lieots have rounder ears, much like a teddy bear's. Their eyes are always yellow, while the regular Lieot's eyes can range from icy blue to soft hazel, or even sparkling green. They have short claws that aren't retractable, since they live in rocky caves high in the mountains, but avoid snow since their coats aren't meant for keeping heat in.
