Wish was born in a small, humble house in Cloud's Dale. Originally she was born as a simple white filly without any markings, or dark highlights in her mane, but also with bright green and blue eyes. But as she began to age, she began to see the hidden darkness in the world, and so dark markings began to appear on her legs, ears, and wings. Her mane also began to darken over time. However, through her hard times, her heart seemed to stay pure, and so no dark markings ever made it near that area. She noticed that she took a natural love and talent for styles of architecture. Upon drawing out her first brilliant idea for a building, she turned to find a strange new shape upon her flank; her own cutie mark.

She is mostly a blank white slate, with black, curling markings on all four of her legs and on her ears. Wish's wings are tipped lightly with black. (Her wings are also slightly more circular and a bit smaller than other ponies.) Her mane is very curly, and is simply black and white. Her left eye is a vibrant green, and her right, a brilliant blue. Her cutie mark is a black and white heart with a small infinity sign at the top, and at the bottom, another heart that blooms into a mushroom-cloud looking shape.
