Color: I chose "strawberry" roan (I don't really know if there's a difference between strawberry and red roan) because it seems to fit the spring-time of Easter (even though strawberries are more of a summer thing over here in the Land of Rain). It also reminds me, because of the red, of how Jesus died on the cross for us. Which is what Easter is all about.
Face and Leg Markings: They are made to look like grass. Obviously very spring-y.
Back Marking: A big, random patch of white. Not really. The last patch of snow, symbolizing that winter ("death" - I like winter but it is often associated with said thing) has been "conquered" and that spring ("life") is coming again.
Haunch Markings: Eggses! Easter Egg Hunts have always been a big part of my Easters. Though they have nothing to do with the true meaning of Easter, they are a big part of the celebration. I'll keep participating in Easter Egg Hunts 'til I die!
