Eeee so this is my entry for the make a marble cat contest and I'm super happy with how it turned out! I started her before the whole java thing and, when that hit, my computer or firefox (not sure which) would not allow me to run java at all so I didn't think I would get to finish her in time. So, you can probably imagine my delight when I decided to try to run chibipaint the other day on a whim and it worked! Then I checked back here and found that the date had been extended!! *squee* I was/am super happy, *dances* lol

Behind the wings:

So today, I decided to finally look through the other entries in this contest because I'm super excited to see the results. Well, I found this entry, which shares a few similarities with my own and since I know people are always quick to jump the gun when claiming art/design theft, I wanted to make something very clear: I did not take any design influence whatsoever from this design, all aspects of my design are of my own creation and any similarities are purely coincidental. I didn't even look at the other entries until today specifically to prevent influence of any kind. All aspects of my design are based around design elements that I like from animals in real life or just random ideas that I thought of while designing. And, If need be, I can point out where all aspects of my design that are similar to the other come from. It's too late now to change/alter the design and even if it wasn't, I wouldn't change it because this design is entirely my own and changing it would only prove otherwise. I'm not saying anything about the other design or it's creator or anything of that nature, I merely wanted to set things straight so that my design wasn't knocked out of the running because of the similarities.
