-random little story for fun-
So Ye want to hear the Tale of the Kelpie named Fools Gold do ya? Well gather 'round! My Memory may still be with me, but my Voice isn't as grand as it used to be.
Everything started on a Hot Summer's day a Group of men wandered the swamp, why? They weren't even sure them selves. While stumbling through some thick brush the eldest of the three tripped over something hard and golden colored. Intrigued by the possibility of a golden artifact that may land them money the three grabbed the strange object, wary of the sharp spikes, and pulled. Little did they know that this wasn't gold, but the horns of a Stallion that lay sleeping behind the thick brush. At first said stallion shrugged the pull off, thinking it was just something walking across his horns. However he opened his fiery eyes when a another, harder pull came. His nostrils flared as he smelt an odd, yet horrid smell coming from right in front of him. The Stallion pulled his head back and upwards as another pull came, briging the men forwards, two having fell and stumbled to the ground in front of him. "What In Blazes name are you doing?!" The Stallion demanded, but all the men heard was an Angry Neigh. The Youngest quickly let go and Yelled "I Told Ye it was Fools Gold!" Before the Three Men Ran off. Finding the Name "Fools Gold" Intriguing the stallion, once named Desmond, changed his name to Fools Gold. If You asked Him He will tell you a Different, more Dramatic tale, but This is the true tale. How do I Know this is True ya ask? That, my Friend, is for another day entirely. The Night maybe young still, But my body is not.
