Likes:
• She loves all things mechanical; they are so alien to her, she cannot help but have curiosity towards them.
• She loves to tinker- she loves the way she can turn nothing into something.
• Ruu does not necessarily love humans, but she likes them. She likes the way that they dream and wonder, and she sometimes compares herself to them because of the way they both have a fear, and an undying respect for the unknown.
• Despite her love for metals and crafting them, she also loves wood and woodworking; because of this, one of her favorite hobbies is whittling.
• Rust loves crafting various things, yes- it is her obsession, really. Besides this, she has only one other thing that she truly loves to do, which is exploring and adventuring. When she was much younger, about 80 years ago, she even left the island of Eloria! When she left, that is when she picked up tinkering from the humans. They, and her adventures, have educated her well.
• Besides adventuring and tinkering, Rust is like anyone else- she has her favorite food, colors, and animals. I decided to separate her main interests {tinkering and adventuring} from her other 'likes', so I made a category for each other 'like'. (:
Favorite Food:
Rust particularly likes carrots, except for the fact that it makes her coat and hair extra-orange.
Favorite Color:
Silver, she finds it to be very simple and pure.
Favorite Instrument:
Cello, she loves the tone quality!
Favorite Flower:
Forget-Me-Nots, she likes that they are so lovely and delicate, but can still push through harsh winters.
Dislikes:
• Rust does not take kindly to those whom stand in her way when she's trying to get something done.
• She does not like those who want to use her, she feels very strongly about herself as an individual and feels that others should respect her as she respects herself.
• When other SoE's think that they are better than her just because she has a rather simple element, and they do not.
• Ruu hates, hates, hates water. The reason for this is because Water can have the same effect as her element, but can do even more with their element. She is extremely envious.
Personality:
Rust is extremely... femme fatale. She is very independent, and tries to do everything herself. She has a very solid personality, with extreme highs and lows. Some highs/strengths are the following:
• Ruu is very loyal. She would die to protect someone she cares for, and would never betray them.
• She has courage- she is not a coward, and will not back down from a fight.
• She is terribly persistent, which can also be a weakness. {Stubborn}
• Rust can be clever when she needs to, which gives her the advantage of being able to get out of sticky situations.
Despite these strengths, Rust is not perfect. Like anyone else, she has her share of flaws.
• Ruu can be very, very, very stubborn, as stated above. Once she sets something in her mind, there is no getting it out.
• She does not do a good job about thinking before doing things.
• Ruu is not afraid to have her say in a conversation, but she can be rather rude and blunt about it, thus shoving her opinion down other's throats.
• She is cocky, and not afraid of punishment for her actions.
Like her element might suggest, she will react to things slowly, and puts as much thought to it as possible. She has a problem with this though, seeing that it takes serious self-control, which she seems to lack. Under the right circumstances though, she will react quickly and violently with no apparent logic.
Rust, despite having visited Earth quite a few times, has little to no respect for humans. She finds them useful, but does not attach herself to them. To her, they are like pawns. She can dispose of them quickly and easily, but given time, they can blossom into something powerful.
