Phantom

Postby WitchSoul0123 » Wed Apr 04, 2012 3:33 pm

FYI, the whole body doesn't acctualy glow, that was just so you could see it, olnly the parts covered by the mask do

Name: Phantom
Gender: Female
Personality: Phantom is a warrior. She is strong and and proud. When she was little, she was a reletivly normal wolf. Then sahe had an "accident" involving some form of toxic radiation.

Lines: THe only edits were tha mask and accessories:)

design was pretty simple:)
started with plain black coat, then added random stripes of purple and made them more stripy with the blender:) the other markings on face were done with the pencil on 1, with 1000 on scattering. Later I changes the brightness with dodge.
The radioactive symbol is on a different layer, covered in green and purple speckles, same settings as before.
The mask and accessories were done using the pencil on 3, using line and curves. coloring is simple dark grey, blended with light grey for highlights.
The glow on the mask was acctualy the hardest part, it's on several different layers.
The first layer is the acctual underfur, under the eye of the mask and a simple triangle for the ear, these are a shade darker than the neon. Using the darkest shede of green shown, I put a dot in the eye hole reprisenting the eye, for simple shine, I used a very light tint of green.
On the seccond layer I put the glow radiating from the ear whole and under the mask. I used the airbrush, as well as an eraser to get the radiating shape correct.
The third layer. I Put A glow arround the eye hole and more glow on the ear, this is slightly less dense than the seccond layer.

Maybe brighten her pelt JUST a tad (like the spots where it's really black and hard to see the purple unless you meant it that way) and add a few more accessories? Only if you want to though.

It looks bright enough. Thanks. For accessories, maybe think metallic or sharp. But accessories aren't necessarily needed so you don't have to go crazy or anything. After all, it is your design.
