I wanted to focus on the girl in the cave and the blue flower. Blue flowers surround her as her gold hair represents the sun and the pinks represent the setting sky. I also added a blue bud that is held by a pink silk ribbon. WIth this I wanted to do the opposite of what you describe and put away from the poison and death like state of the place you describe and bring you back to its more lively and soft joyous times.
