Kage is fine. 
And I'll have to think on the likes and dislikes. You could say he likes to fly on his wings, or you could say ironically he hates flying because he is afraid of heights or something, like he's afraid to fall. He obviously likes Shoko, and dislikes other wolves just because if the way he was treated as a pup.
