Peppermint Hot Chocolate || Username: Trphlthdl || Name: Miri
Compliment: I'd like to compliment Credit. I haven't been very active in the community for a couple of years now, although when I was I loved (and still do love) talking to them. My best memories within the community feature them. They're incredibly kind and creative, and I couldn't ask for a better community pal!
Miri opened the oven, and felt the heat drift into her face. She reached for the pan the meringues sat on
"ah-ah, darling, aren't you forgetting something?" Miri's grandmother asked from the kitchen table.
Miri let out a huff of frustration as she realized she'd forgotten to put on oven mitts, and slipped them on before pulling the meringues out of the oven. Miri hurriedly grabbed one off of the sheet, and thought it was delicious. She ate another, and another, and another, until...
"Miri! We were supposed to bring those to the Christmas party!" Miri's mother exclaimed, as her grandmother chuckled at the kitchen table. Miri looked over at her mother sheepishly.

Miri lay on the couch, surrounded by the noise of the Christmas party, and feeling absolutely sick to her stomach. Her mother sat beside her, stroking Miri's head to comfort her. She hadn't been chastised for eating all of the meringues, and until now she'd wondered why. She felt dazed and nauseous, which her mother attributed to too much sugar from the meringues she'd eaten.
"Miri Miri Miri!" Vallen bounded over, two homemade costumes trailing behind them, "It's almost time for our performance! Aren't you excited!"
Miri hadn't known she had a headache until now. She'd been too focused on not tossing her cookies.
"Can't perform. Too sick."
Vallen scoffed. "I told you we should have had understudies! Now what am I gonna do?"
Miri could only groan in response, but Vallen was already turning away. [250/250]
