Welcome to the Kobalos Adopts Nursery Artist Search!
{What are the Kobalos?
The Kobalos are a genetics based species, and as such, will inherit certain traits from their parents following the genetic code.
First discovered by the Greek people, these cannid like spirits are well known for their trickery and deception. Before being tamed, these beasts where the original cause of many a war, and as such have been brought to the edge of extinction. Through many shelters, it is by luck that we have now been able to "resurrect" the species.
Now, under the care of their owners, the Kobaloi now flourish. Even though they have kept their mischievous nature, they are incredibly loyal beings with extensive personalities and pattern combinations.
Basic Rules and Information
- Artists will be chosen based off of two things: design quality, and their ability to follow the genetic code (including mutations)
- As previously stated, the Kobalos are a genetically based species, meaning when creating litters, the genetic code must be followed, this thread will provide you said code
- No more than three entries please
- Please Make A Cover
- Please pay attention to what genes are dominant over others
- Mutations can occur in the breeding of Kobalos, please use this thread (bottom) to understand how those chances are run**
- Please use the provided forms under the previous link
- You may use any number generator you wish to run the mutation chances
- Be Kind
- Follow the Breeding Rules
- You may use any of the provide Kobalos as long as their breeding is sanctioned under the Breeding Rules
- You may NOT keep any of the designs/Kobalos you make under this Search
Possible Parents
Male
x - Light grey with blue stripes, and blue tips, light blue eyes, dark blue paw pads, pink tongue.
x - A brown Kobalos with prominent dark drown stripes, light tan collar, blue paw pads and tongue, as well as violet eyes.
x - A blue-grey Kobalos whose pelt fades into an icey blue, with prominent black stripes, an off-white underbelly, pink nose, ear, tongue and paw pads, and amber eyes.
Female
x - A dark grey Kobalos with yellow eyes, inverted spots with a light grey outer and a faint yellow inner and faint light stripes, glowing yellow paw pads
x - A dark grey kobalos marked with a light collar and glowing inverted spots. Amber pawpads that match with the eyes can be seen, as well as a purple tongue.
x - Light grey to darker grey gradient, purple and yellow swirling saddle and eye band, twin tails, twin horns and extra foreleg fur.
