Welcome to the Catapede Artist Contest!
For this contest, you have to draw your own catapedes.
There are no pre-made lines for you to color in. If you are
chosen as an artist, you still have to draw unique lineart
every time. (As seen in the Catapede thread.) I will choose
at least two artists. (Guest Artists will be chosen later on)
Any catapedes created here may not be kept/adotped unless
you are chosen as an artist, then you may take that as one
of your own customs. Artist rules are on the original thread.
If you have any questions on how to make a catapede look,
please ask me! You may enter as many times as you want !
Basics
- Short and somewhat plump.
- Six, thick, stubby legs.
- Thick tail.
- Squishy underbelly, and under the tail.
- Four eyes. (Two - four pupils in large eyes, one pupil in small eyes)
- all eyes must have the same colors.
- Of course, you can refer to the catapedes on the original thread.

Catapedes wrote:catapedes are rather eccentric creatures
that resemble a jumble between a cater
pillar and a cat, hence the name. they
measure at around three feet long, and
around one foot high. catapedes have
four compact eyes, six short, stubby legs,
and a squishy underside. as cute as these
things may look, they aren't exactly the
nicest thing out there. catapedes are
destructive, and their saliva is intoxicated
with nasty bacteria that will surely get you sick.
these aren't very family friendly; if you couldn't
already tell. if you are looking for a pet, try a
dog or fish instead. if you really want to keep
one of these, you'd better have a lot of money
at hand and a few sets of bullet proof suits.
