Tiny Horse Artist Search
I'm looking for two, possibly three artists to help me out with Tiny Horses (link above in the banner), my new adoptable. If you'd like to be part of the Tiny Team (as a Tiny Artist), here's your chance! First, make sure you read the Tiny Horse info and contest rules below. Then go create your tiny entries!
Notes: Only one Tiny Horse type will be used for contest entries - the Standard type. Also, the foal ("litter cover") is not included. This is just to make thing simpler.
About Tiny Horses
-- Very small, ranging from three-quarters-of-an-inch to a inch-and-a-half
-- Tiny Horse foals are much smaller in comparison to adults than regular-sized horse foals are to regular-sized horse adults
-- Born in "litters," usually 3-8 foals per litter
-- There are two varieties of Genetically Enhanced (GE) Tiny Horses: "Unusual" and "Unnatural"
----- "Unusual" GE Tiny Horses display colors/markings found in any other animal species (i.e. felines, canines, etc.)
----- "Unnatural" GE Tiny Horses display colors/markings not found in any animal species in the world
-- There are five "types" of Tiny Horse (kind of like breeds, but different)
----- Standard type: Pictured above, the most common type
----- Thoroughbred type: Long, lean, running type, also quite common
----- Draft type: Heavy-built, larger type with feathering
----- Arabian type: Slender but strong type resembling regular-sized Arabians
----- Spanish type: Strong, elegant type resembling regular-sized Andalusians, somewhat less common than other types
-- Tiny Horses are adopted out in litters (with the exception of special single-horse adopts), blanket color represents type
Rules
-- Entries are not to be used as real Tiny Horses (except the ones awarded as prizes)
-- Do not steal/use lines for anything but this contest
-- At least two entries per person (one normal, one "Unusual" or "Unnatural" GE), but you can do more if you like
-- It would help if you put your entries under a cover, so I can see each entrants entries all together
-- Don't enter if you won't have the time to adopt out Tiny Horses (doesn't take much time, though, since they're so tiny)
-- Have fun!
Prizes
First Place
-- Permanent Tiny Artist position
-- Get to keep your two favorite entries as customs (if you want to)
Second Place
-- Permanent Tiny Artist position
-- Get to keep your favorite entry as a custom (if you want to)
Third Place
-- Tiny Guest Artist (explained in PM) or permanent Tiny Artist position (if I decide I need three artists)
-- Get to keep your favorite entry as a custom (if you want to)
Being a Tiny Artist
If you become a Tiny Artist (or Tiny Guest Artist), there are some things you'll be expected to do. Just so that everyone knows what that entails before they become an artist (we don't want any surprises, now, do we?), I'll list the Tiny Artist "duties" here. If you become a Tiny Artist, I'll PM you anything else you need to know ("top secret" stuff, y'know). So, here are the things you'll need to do if you become a Tiny Artist. You must...
-- Make at least three litters a week (litters can have 3-8 foals each); this really isn't that hard because they're so small
-- Grow the foals of each litter after all foals are adopted or a week after the first foal is adopted
-- Complete Tiny Horse breedings every once in a while (at least once a month - more info on this in PM)
-- Be able to create "Unusual" or "Unnatural" Tiny Horses (more info on this in PM)
-- Be an awesome Tiny Artist that contributes great tiny awesomeness to the Tiny Community
This contest will end on March 18th.
