- If you're here, then you must be interested in becoming an artist for Finned Otter adopts. So let's get right to it then.
I have removed the pup lines as well as a couple of horn types from the competition lines, so that you're all aware.
Rules:
- Please familiarize yourself with the basic species information displayed on the first post of the adoption thread.
- Please follow the species information. If you have questions, post here or PM me.
- I require at least 3 entries per entrant, with a maximum of 6.
- While not actually required, I would prefer if you created a topic that you will do all of your entries under.
- At least one entry must include line edits/accessories.
- At least one entry must contain no edits.
- You may not keep your entries, unless otherwise stated.
- Winning artists may choose to place their designs up for adoption (with my permission).
Expectations: (If you become an artist)
- Be active (If you will be gone for a while, I'd appreciate a heads up)
- Actually have an interest in the species
- Follow species guidelines
- WIP?
Special Notes:
Upon winning, you will be placed on a short trial period. This is to ensure that you are actually going to stick around as an artist and maintain interest. During this period, you will not be allowed to create your custom. When you have successfully completed your trial period, you will gain full artist privileges. :)
Places/Prizes:
1st-
- Permanent artist (May keep one of their entries), three wishlist pets (or two rares if I have nothing on your wishlist)
- Permanent artist (May keep one of their entries), three wishlist pets (or two rares if I have nothing on your wishlist)
- Guest artists, one wishlist pet (or one rare)
Bonus:
- If one of your entries is a well-done, custom-lined entry, your chances of winning will skyrocket.
Artist Information: (As found on the adoption thread)
- You may ask myself or any of the other staff for help with judging.
- Each artist may make one custom for now.
- Artist customs may have line edits/accessories.
- Please limit yourself to four designs a week.
- At least two designs a month, unless you tell me you're going to be busy.
- Try to end when you say you will.
- Judging must occur as soon as possible after the end date.
- Maximum of three up per artist at one time.
- Maximum of two runner ups for any adopt.
- Runner ups are not to be common.

Banner Competition!
As you may have noticed, we are in need of a banner for the adoption page. If anyone is willing to create one, it would be greatly appreciated.
I will accept banner entries until the end of the artist competition. What I would like is for it to feature the mascot, Polaris, and say Finned Otters on it. Beyond that, you may run wild. So long as it will look good sitting at the top of Finned Otter threads.
Prize: custom otter, as well as CS pets which I'm happy to work out with the winner.
Note: This may also increase your chances of getting an artist position.
END DATE: Morning of April 1st. Consider March 31st your last day to get entries in.
