Story:
The old dusty book was placed neatly on the stool, holding a few odd markings on the cover. Your hand tentatively brushes off the thick film of debris and cobwebs covering it, revealing the dark chocolate brown leather, faded on the edges to a pale cream, pealing and cracked. Curiosity grips you and it is beyond you to resist the urge of opening the book. Before you know it, it's wide open and it's pages are crawling with words. It makes no sense! yet... you feel like you can see something.
A garden, completely enveloped in wild flowers overwhelming the brick walls that caged the large yard. It was so quiet. A pair of golden eyes flashed and the canine paced, looking back and forth. What was he doing? Was he waiting for something? someone?
"Your pacing will wake the dead" came a soft, sweet voice from the Irish spotted setter, her heterochromia eyes, one blue, the other deep, warm brown.
"Analie...." his voice whispered the name as if it were to sacred and treasured to say too loud or it would slip away, so happy he felt tears begging to flow down in pure joyous relief.
"Sh...." she murmured and walked closer, her eyes locking with his.
"Analie.... I never meant for them to find out.... I never said anything!"
"Hush... it's okay...." she murmured.
"No... it's all my fault and now!"
"Quiet..." she said and licked his nose to quiet the anxious wolf.
"It's okay..." he murmured, repeating it a few times in his head, rubbing his face into her neck as she nuzzled up close and the two breathed in each other's scents.
"I don't want to have to part like this... not like this, Ana...."
"We have only this.... it is to be...." she murmured and licked his ear.
"Ana.... I.... I can't... can't let this happen to you. We could run... far away! We could use spells to hide us from their gaze, and steal away from their watch!"
"You know as well as I do that it isn't going to work..."
"It could! Please Ana.... this could be our chance to do something for our freedom!"
"NO" she said, getting the tone she got with her father when he angered her, shocking the lover at her use of it against him.
"Ana..... I just can't sit by and wait for it to happen...."
"There is nothing you can do...."
"No.... I can...." he murmured and turned away.
"No!(put name here) come back!" she called as he headed off into the night, his paws carrying him like the angel he was.
What was going on? what was the 'it' they were talking about? and why were they talking as if something had revealed a secret, and ripped a raw open wound apart and poured in salt.
A flash of scenes catches you of guard as if something ripped you away and shoved you into another movie theater seat.
"and.... you admit to all charges? that you blackmailed his daughter, Analie?"
"My guilt was eating away at me.... and I knew how much it would hurt her father.... I did it. I did all of it. I stained the sacred oath, and have broken the Great Law" he told them.
"You.... do know what this means?" asked the King, the great German shepherd looked down at him with both rage, and pity.
"I do.... and I deserve it... I am nothing but a monster... and I don't deserve even Hell as a sanctuary....." he told them.
"Then.... bring forth the Sightess...." rumbled the ruler as a door was opened and a female walking corpse traipsed in, slobber smothered all over her maw and dripping down, yellow and crusting around the edges of her mouth.Her eyes..... they were gone, and she wore a necklace holding a single blue eye.
"I see all, and do all, now what does the King draw me out for?" she rasped in a voice of a siren.
"This young wolf...."
"I see... I see....." she said and grinned.
"Oh.... I see" she said and walked around him, using her long, untamed claws to draw a circle around him and stopping in front of him.
"I see....." she grinned, showing her toothless gums, fulled with odd....yellow growths.
"Do you dare to commit to this?" she asked, grinning even wider, scaring the wolf, but he felt his face twist and pain started to grow in his head.
"Y-y-y-y-y-yessssss" he hissed through clenched teeth as she circled and started to chant. The doors flew open and Analie ran in.
"You heartless coward!" she screamed, but the guards detained the weeping widow who was about to loose the one thing she loved.
"Don't do this!" she cried, but she was silenced through the racket as the Sightess chanted louder as her voice boomed in a shriek. The words were ancient, and no one knew them except the One-Who-Sees.
He looked down as veins of dark emerald green crawled up him, stabbing into him and seeping in a poison. His head whipped back in a scream that mutated and morphed into a laugh. The Sightess smiled and turned to the King.
"What did you do?!"
"He was innocent..... It doesn't work if their innocent... now... you'll have to deal with the aftermath of your foolishness.... and for locking me away for 1000 years!" she shrieked as the guards threw her back down into her cage.
The poor victim's eyes started to fizzle and dripped blood, melting and shriveling down into ash, falling out in a light rain of burnt dust. He screamed and laughed as his mind became twisted. Analie ripped away from her guards and lunged towards her love.... but she made a mistake. He turned on her, eyeless and his teeth gnarled and poking out in a toothy grin. It flashed white before she fell into his jaws. He slammed her down on the ground, rearing back as he ripped off her foreleg, the sweet canine screaming and crying.
"No! My love! This isn't you!" she wailed as he swallowed down her leg and turned back to her, hair sprouting down, pale a sickly yellow like teeth.
"(insert name here)....You're only a monster now...." she sobbed as the beast sank his teeth in and ripped her head clean off, spinal fluid and blood spewing out.
Suddenly, you're standing in the garden, staring at the book again. The walls have long crumbled down, and the flowers died away to ant hills and a dump site. Shakily, you turn and run, afraid that it might drag you back in again, leaving you helpless to watch more mutilations. It terrifies you.... it's like nothing you'd ever seen. One moment, the two could barely look at each other without crying in love... the next.... their crying blood as they are torn apart.
Raven Howl - Comments: You got out of your comfort zone. I love The main and The spikes.
glispa - Comments: I love the Items and design but the only thing that kept this guy from moving up was The design is diff on the other side it appears which means i would need a ref of both sides. 
Shira. - Comments: The only thing that Kept this one from getting in the top 3 Was The back tribal Markings to Duplicate that everytime I draw the Char would stress me out Way way to much (Im a perfectionist i would go mentally insane)

The Wardrobe - Comments: Love the colors and the story but the design almost felt Plain. Sorry
