Thank you all so much for your interest and enthusiastic participation! I'm sorry I could not pick all of you, but perhaps some time in the future you'll be able to help out, but I hope you'll still be able to enjoy Faerie Lytes still with the help or our lovely new staff! They all seem very capable of taking much better care of the shop than I could.

All of the info on this post is very important, so please read it all the way through before entering. Thank you.

Can You Handle being on the Faerie Lyte Staff?
Find out!

I, PixieStoryteller, am preparing to return to college and as such will no longer have the ample amount of time it takes to keep up with the Faerie Corner Shop. Therefore, instead of closing it, which would be catastrophic to my dear, supportive customers, I have decided to hire lots of help so we can keep this delightful shop going! :D

Notice that I said I was hiring help. This means I am not passing on the Faerie Shop to somebody new and then just leaving. I will always be the head of this business and therefore retain the right to heckle the poor hired help should they be doing something wrong. I also retain the right to fire them if they are not working up to my standards. So if you want to help our Faerie Lytes, you also have to deal with me. Please keep this in mind. ^^ I promise to try not to be too bothersome, but this is a little like handing a baby over to the sitter... I'm going to be super picky.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alright! Now that I'm done with my intro and dire warnings, I'll let you know what staff positions are available to you.
Shop Runner
The shop runner will be my second in command. While I am so busy with school work and such, they will be keeping things running smoothly by checking on the Lytes to make sure they are updated, making sure customers are getting their orders filled, keeping an eye on the archive to make sure its updated as well and also checking to see that the rp is up to date among other things. The Shop Runner is also free to be an artist on the side if he/she feels they have time.
Some perks to being a Shop Runner:
1. All hired help must listen to you.
2. You create the main post.
3. You may create as many adopts as you like and keep as many as you like.
4. You are privileged with keeping dear Flare as your personal assistant Lyte.
5. If you are also an artist, then you recieve payments for the Lytes that you created.
Archivist
The Archivist will be keeping track of the Lytes on a post below the Spells Shoppe as can be seen here. He/she may keep track of the Lytes in a different manner than how I did if they receive approval from me. They must constantly check to see the updates which the artists have written on the different Lyte's pages and also keep up with username changes as well as the Lytes that are currently available for adopting. It is a very complicated and difficult task. The Archivist will kind of be the Shop Runner's second in command since the Archivist also has the power to check in on the artist to make sure that they have updated all of their Lytes correctly.
The Archivist may be an artist at their own risk. Archiving is a very difficult and time consuming task so I don't recommend being an artist as well, but if you're positive that you can handle it, then I won't stop you.
(On a side note, I'm going to make it so that there has to be a rule that all spell orders must be placed on the future main thread so it'll hopefully be easier to keep track of who ordered what and such... ^^)
Perks to being an Archivist:
1. Second in command to the Shop Runner.
2. Is in charge of all archiving details and *technically* higher rank than the artist.
3. Is privy to creating their own "helper" Lyte, or to request a free custom one from myself.
4. Is allowed to be an artist and therefore take in all payments for their art.
Artist
While being of the lowest rank, I believe the artist has the hardest and most important job. I mean, what would the Faerie Corner Shop be without the Faerie Lytes??? The artist will, of course, create free pre-mades for users to adopt, in the fashion that I myself gave them away. They are not allowed to make this process more complicated or simple. The reason I made adopting this way was first to make it simple enough that I really would be able to spread Faerie Lytes around CS and also because I wanted the owners to know how special their new Lyte was by making them read the main page. The Artist will keep that tradition up along with the tradition of keeping a general record of the Faerie Lyte's spells and the other details that I normally keep on the Lyte's page. This will be important for the Archivist, and more importantly, for the owner's knowledge. I may seem redundant to keep a record both on the Lyte's page and on the main page, but let me assure you, it is very helpful.
Now I know what I've written about the artist so far doesn't exactly sound as fun as one might have thought, but I would like to remind you that while there is responsibility and rules involved, there is also wonderful creativity and fun! The Artist is the only one that creates custom Lytes and receive payment for them. Also, the Artist handles the roleplaying for any of the Lytes that he/she created as well as all the payments. Its so much fun to develop the personality of the Lyte you created and interact with the owner to make them smile. :) The Artist's job is the one that really spreads joy and laughter everywhere because they are the main people that create the Faerie Lytes.
Perks to being the Artist:
1. You are the main Artist and most probably receive the most praise.
2. You alone can create customs and therefore you receive payments for those customs. (Customs, unless I personally say otherwise, will always be a rare. Also, you alone can decide when customs will be closed.)
3. You create most of the pre-mades and therefore receive all payments for those pre-mades.
4. You roleplay with the owners as the Lytes.
5. You can create 1 personal Lyte, a helper Lyte like Flare.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rules

1. No whining, complaining, or anything of the like. I promise that I will choose the people whom I believe to be best fit for these jobs.
2. Do not post any entries on this thread. All entries posted on this thread shall be entirely ignored.
3. The three winners shall be messaged about their new positions along with further instructions.
4. I retain the right to be the head of this business and to be an artist should I so choose to be one.
5. This competition shall end on the 21st of August at 12:00 p.m. My Time. (it is at the moment 11:15 my time)
6. Please post on this thread if you have questions or suggestions. Thank you. :)
7. All unfinished or incomplete forms will be ignored as well! ^^'

(So does EVERYONE have to colour in the Lyte, or just the artists?)
I'm looking for the Donner Dog from the Christmas 2010 Sleigh litter,
the Grey Husky from the Christmas 2015 Husky litter, and the
Green Field Moon 2nd Gen from the April 2011 Field Moon 2nd Gen litter!

Image
I'm collecting the 2020 Easter bunnies designed by Anouki. They're based on a
Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get
better. Please help me with this hoard. Thanks for reading. ~Love from Moony

You all have to "color in" the picture, but only those applying to be an artist will after wards receive an assignment from me. When you press the color in button you don't actually have to alter the drawing before your save it. I don't want to you alter the drawing, but post your form on the main post of the thread you create by making a color in. If you are a Shop Runner or an Archivist, then you don't have to ever worry about altering the drawing. All Artist applicants(whether they are just artists or are also applying for a higher position) must fill out an artist form on that thread(if you are applying for a higher position, you would post 2 forms on the same post), and I would leave you an assignment as is stated above. :)

Just in case, I'd like to say that I've finished my forms (for now). You can find them here or click on my version of the grey Lyte above! :)

I've added a seventh rule! If your form is incomplete by the time of the judging, it shall be ignored. Also, artist forms that are incomplete will not receive assignments as such.
