I just mean that you said that you might not choose a winner, which isn't allowed, and I dunno if you choosing the prizes to hand out from within a group is allowed, because it means some of them might not be given out uvu <3

I said that I might not choose a winner, yes, but it says directly underneath, that the person with the best entry will still get the promised '09 rare.
I just define 'winner' with actually using the lineart, which might not happen if I don't like the entries.

So even though you will give out the '09 rare, you're not allowed to offer any of the other pets unless you're absolutely, no excuses, giving them out ^^;; that's what the rules say uvu <3

Yeah, but I'm not offering the other pets. There's nothing about having to have one specific pet as the prize in the rules. It just says that what is promised as the prize does have to be given out. And the promised prize is an '09 rare out of this group.

Whatever, I'm pretty sure prizes that are offered but might not be given out (ie, grand prizes aren't allowed) aren't allowed ... but it's up to you. If you want to take the risk go for it ^^;;

It just doesn't make sense to have an '08 advent in the prize group if the winner can only choose an '09 rare. Might be a bit misleading c:

I get what you're getting at, but I am stating multiple times that the prize is an '09 rare, and advents are neither from '09 nor rare - therefore they are neither offered nor optional prizes.
I will put the '09 rares in a seperate group if a mod considers this as misleading, too, but I don't see how it should be my fault if people jump to false assumptions even though everything is made clear on the frontpage. That group is not only for this but also for future lineart contests, and I like to have things that somehow belong together to actually sit together in a group. *shrugs*
