Draw Me a Dragon Winners!

Postby Merlin's Heir » Tue Jun 12, 2012 10:21 am

3rd Place:
WildHorse32 with the unnamed Dragon

Your dragon is very good. I love the amount of detail and time you put into it. Out of the whole dragon, I think you did best with the head and neck, especcialy the big horn on the forehead. The detail you put around the eye gives it an expression, which is nessecary for a good adoptable. Thank you for particitpating in this competition. (Please view the first post for info on your prize, then send a trade {it might be cancelled if the 1st or 2nd place winner{s} choses a pet you have also asked for. If that happens, just send a new trade})

2nd Place:
Charmens with the unnamed Dragon

I really like the agile, slender look of your adult dragons. The hatchlings are adorable and all the shading is excellent. The feet of the adults are very well done (something I certainly couldn't do), as are the thighs and shoulders. I love the coloring of the eggs. You did wonderful on the thick/thin-ness of the legs and neck. I also love the loving, guarding look in the adults' eyes. It makes them seem filled with emotion, which helps make them seem more real. Thank you very much for particitpating in this competition. (Please view the first post for info on your prize, then send a trade {it might be cancelled if the 1st place winner choses a pet you have also asked for. If that happens, just send a new trade})

1st Place:
Violet Stormbringer with the Ancient Elder Western Dragon

Your dragon is astounding. The muscular, battle-dragon like look gives them a sense of power and makes their name perfect for them. I can't wait to see the dragons you make for the adoptables (if, that is, you accept the positions of co-owner and artist), and the hatchling you did. The tail reminds me of a mace, and it really adds to the strong look of the dragon. The large feet do seem to make it less agile and fast-moving, but they really do add a lot to the strength and powerful-ness. The Ancient Elder Western Dragon (or AEWD) is absolutely amazing, and I never expected an entry like yours to pop up in my little competition. Thank you ever so much for particitpating in my competition. (Please view the first post for info on your prize, then send a trade, and please add me to the color list for the dragon {you can finish the lock alpha color layers first, if you want to})
