A grey she-cat with troubled green eyes looked at the sky.”What is it,Lilacfur?”asked a black she-cat with blue eyes.”I don't know,Crowstar.Starclan is sending me some kind of message,but I don't know what it is.”murmered Lilacfur.Sudennly a comet went past in the sky.”That's it!”squealed Lilacfur excitedly.”There's another Clan!””What do you mean?”asked Crowstar with a suspicous look on her face.”Crowstar,there is another Clan.We are Four.”
Chapter one
Coldscale looked at the kits.They were playing that they were different clans,and were fighting against eachother.He smirked.He still didn't understand how they were going to mentor all those kits.He himself hoped for Vinekit.She was a eager and quiet learner,and not so active.Let Streamclaw pick another one.”Coldscale!”a yowl came from the center of the camp.Coldscale sighed.Logtail again.He knew that when there were only four warriors in the camp,they had to work harder to build the camp.But he could take at least a dirt break!Logtail was ordering them around like kits.Sometimes Coldscale wished he was a kit and could play.”Coldscale!” “Alright,I'm coming,I'm coming!”he yowled back and went to Logtail.”What took you so long?”demanded Logtail.”I was looking at the kits.”he grumbled.”Well there's work to do.We still don't have the aprentice den done.Will you take Harecreek and do it?Streamclaw is hunting.”said Logtail.”I'll do the borders.”All the fun things go to Streamclaw,he thought.And the dirty work?Me and Harecreek!He should be going to collect twigs for the den.”Harecreek?”He whispered as he poked his head into the warriors den.”Whaaaa?”mumbled Harecreek.”Logtail said we hve to start building the aprentice den.And you know how many kits we have.It'll have to big!”growled Coldscale.”I'm comin',”Harecreek mumbled sleepily.”You go on,I' catch up,”She said and plopped back into her moss nest.Coldscale sighed.The same old sleepy Harecreek.He went outside to pick the branches.As he went into the forest,alongside the border stream,he saw Grubface picking something.”Hey Coldscale!”Grubface looked at him.”I think Lilacfur will need these herbs.Will you give them to her?”he asked,adding,”They're for greencough.”At that sentence Coldscale didn't hesitate a bit longer.He grabbed the herbs,said thank you,and went rushing to Lilacfur.Grubface was right.They did need them.Crowstar had whitecough,and it could go to greencough,and then maybe even blackough.It would be a tragedy and a bad sign to lose a leader when starting a Clan.And heard something about Lilacfur saying that she coulden't find the herb for greencough.As he raced to the camp,he thought about the aprentices den.
