So, the SoEs have to follow tradition, and I understand that. However, would it be OK, since it's based in the human world this time, if I created a male SoE who didn't go shirtless all of the time?

Your guys don't always have to be shirtless. I have one that wears a shirt. It's just a tradition that they are shirtless, and Blitz doesn't like it broken very often.
