this is hatari! he's the first design i've come up with entirely on my own - the other designs i've been posting are all redesigns :)

in short: he's the heir to the pridelands, although he's very unsure of himself. his father had an affair with an unknown lioness, and refuses to give him a single detail on who she was. the rest of the pride generally dislikes him. he was a nice enough cub, but as he grew older, he grew more apathetic. he's definitely not a bad guy, though, and would do anything to uphold justice. he dislikes kionsu for his gentle demeanor, and is constantly being challenged by livian. mwali and him were best friends when they were younger, but have grown apart a bit. hatari does not have a mate.
