A gene similar to PATN1 that affects tobiano, overo, sabino, dominant white, and splash only when those white genes are also present in the genotype. It cannot express without a white gene present. It 'roans' out the white in a similar fashion to roan in dogs. It can express in maximum fashions, normal fashions, or minimum fashions.
