Blizzardflight (she/her)

- Left her family and her life in the city to travel on her own
- Finds a group of nomadic rogues and joins them
- Changes her name to just Blizzard because Blizzardflight is long, and she's not in a Clan
- Catches Wasp threatening his old friend; Wasp notices her as well but she runs off before they can talk
- Leaves the group with her young (early apprentice-aged) kits and they travel pretty far away
- Finds a Clan and she and her kits quickly join (Blizzard had heard good stories about Clans from her mother)
- Uses the name Blizzardflight again
- Turns out the Clan is in a constant, pointless border dispute with another Clan
- One of her kits (Blossomstripe) is killed in conflict; she's completely numb and barely talks for days; perspective on Clans has changed a lot
- When her kits set up a plan to leave, she agrees and heads off ahead with Specklemist
- Specklemist falls ill and Blizzardflight is forced to snap out of her fog of grief to take care of them
- Eventually Blizzardflight dies of greencough (some time when Ferretfang's kits are basically warrior-aged), but on the last few days she's sick, Wasp's group stumbles upon her family's territory; Wasp apologizes and Blizzard forgives him

Wasp (he/him)

- Leader of the group of cats that Blizzard joins
- Was born and raised a kittypet but is terrified of anyone ever knowing and is very careful to keep it secret
- When his friend from when he was a kittypet shows up, Wasp threatens and scratches him to try to keep this secret
- When Blizzard and the kits leave, he knows he messed up and starts to rethink things
- Eventually calls a meeting of the whole group and confesses that he used to be a kittypet
- Doesn't go after Blizzard, but his group eventually accidentally stumbles into her and her family when Blizzard is dying of greencough

Ferretfang (he/they)

Ll, Bbl, oY, DD, Dmdm, aa, Mcmc, spsp, Tata, Ii, wbwb, EE, cscb, WsWs

- His mate is expecting kits when his family decides to leave the Clan, so he stays behind temporarily to wait for the kits to be old enough to travel
- After almost getting lost a few times, he and his new family catch up to Blizzardflight and Specklemist

Blossomstripe (she/her)

- Dies in a border dispute with another Clan
- She was that super sweet everyone-must-protect-her-at-all-costs kind of cat, and everyone was devastated by her death
- Probably wasn't even supposed to be in the battle but got dragged in somehow

Specklemist (they/them)

- Blossomstripe and Specklemist were very close and nearly inseparable; they're hit hard by her death but focus on taking care of their mom and manage okay
- Takes care of a still-struggling Blizzardstripe while they look for a good place for them all to live
- Catches greencough sometime during their travels, forcing Blizzardstripe to snap out of it for long enough to take care of them
- They recover enough to travel, but continue have a cough for awhile (though they're not contagious; just struggling lungs)
- Not great with kits, but helps train Ferretfang's quietest kit and they become friends (kit reminds them of Blossomstripe)
- Probably gets StarClan-ish dreams from Blossomstripe
