Lines aren't mine
This is the shapeshifter form of my newest character, Kalani.
Kalani is a shapeshifter, and a mercenary. She was originally meant to become an assassin under her mother's orders, but was thankfully saved from that fate by a friend of her father's. Who then went on to raise her as if she were his own daughter. Teaching her the ways of a mercenary, and to always value the beauty in life.
Some facts about her:
- Both of her parents were soldiers. With her mother being a higher rank than her father.
- Her tail is an oddity, and was inherited from her mother's side. No-one knows entirely how her bloodline inherited this tail. However, some have come to believe that it could possibly be a mutation that's been passed down from one generation to another.
- Her father was mysteriously killed while out on patrol. No-one knows who killed him or how he even died. Leaving Kalani in the temporary care of her mother, who she deeply despised for viewing her as another one of her pawns.
- On the night she was meant to begin her training as an assassin, an old friend of her father's arrived at her room. Telling her to pack her things and get ready to run. Before sneaking her out of her mother's main base and vanishing into the night with her. Taking her somewhere that not even her own mother would be able to easily find them. An old safe house that once belonged to her father.
- Kalani has been taught not to kill, injure or harm the weak and innocent. No matter how much she is paid to do so. Because of this, she will often do her own private research on her targets. If they are indeed guilty and heartless, then she will kill them. However, if they did something either out of desperation or were truly innocent, then she'll turn on whoever had employed her.
- Kalani was born as both a lightning elemental and a fire elemental. Meaning that she can control anything that evolves fire or electricity. She is also capable of using telekinesis, telepathy and teleportation. Which has often proven useful when in a tight spot.
- She enjoys travelling from one planet to another. Mainly because she gets to see and learn about different environments, new types of both flora and fauna, different alien cultures etc.
