Abalos is the leader of a clan that resides deep within a canyon hidden within the desert. Due to the lack of plumage in his crest, he is often sometimes mistaken for one of the females within his clan. Which can be a death sentence for anyone who was foolish enough to point it out. He also happens to be incredibly manipulative, and has often used his rivals superstitions against them. Including tricking other tribes, clans and packs into believing something that isn't true. An example of this, would be how he tricked Nightstar's pack into believing that her hatching was an omen. Having come to see the young raptor as a threat to his future plans and wished to dispose of her before she could try and stop him.
However, despite not having an impressive crest like most males of his clan, Abalos has been able to impress quite a few females. The only problem is that unlike other tribe, clan and pack leaders, Abalos has more than one mate. Does he love any of them? That has yet to be seen. He has even managed to become the proud father of quite a few clutches.
Unlike other raptors, Abalos isn't superstitious. Due to the fact that he deeply despises anything to do with spirits or gods. Believing that it is nothing more than a bunch of ghost stories made to keep little rebellious hatchlings in line. To him, its survival of the fittest and that is exactly what he plans to do.
