"Fianna! Fiii, come on, get up!"
Fianna huffed, covered her face with her paws, and earned another whine and small paws smacking off her antlers.
"Get up, get up! Come on, leisceoir, the sun rose like an hour ago. We gotta goooo!"
"Níl," she grumbled back, but those feet were insistant as they drummed out a beat on her antler, and she eventually had to huff.
She sat up a little too abruptly and the little thing went tumbling off, leaving her a somewhat guilty as they ducked her head again to nudge the overenthusiastic Harko back to her paws. She didn't seem to mind though, just beamed up at the sort-of-a-canine canine, then buried herself under Fia's long ear, turning around so it settled over her side like a blanket.
"Thank you thank you thank you! Oh, I'm so excited!"
Fia couldn't help but smile, letting the youth nuzzle under her jaw before Harko was bouncing off again.
"Well you better have slept well," she replied, beginning to slowly walk after her, just slow enough that the pup would have to double back and slow down as well to stay with her. ""Tá sé turas dhá lá."
"Tógfaidh sé níos mó ná dhá lá," Harko grumbled back, "with the speed you walk."
Fianna couldn't help but laugh at her, at how fast she was already learning the language even with only a few months in these woods with her. She was proud of her for sure, but she had much to learn - much she would likely not learn, when they got to the village they were travelling too, she added. Harko would get home and her poor parents could grieving over their missing pup, and she would return to the forest to return offerings and answering prayers that asked for her guidance for these trees that went on forever.
Until then, though, she had to keep an eye on Harko.
It would quite possibly be her hardest task yet.

leisceoir - lazybones (informal)
Níl - no
Tá sé turas dhá lá - it's a two day trip
Tógfaidh sé níos mó ná dhá lá - it'll take longer than two days
not my best writing but!! i want something small to tie Fia to my other characters and also a way to introduce the basis of her lore, so. also i didn't really want to create a whole new picture of her without something more than "x" in the text box c':
