Update: Took the advice of a fellow CS member and re-worked the background a bit so that it's not so eww-ish. Kind of low key hoping that not too many people saw how it looked before! xD

hmm yeah i see your point on that one. I do admit that i got kind of rushed there at the end, i can usually at least do better on the leaves if nothing else. I may go back and redo the background so they dont look so cheesy. xD

I can't really take any credit for the facial expressions though, that was part of the original lineart that the other artist created.
