So, I was thinking about my Halloween costume, because Halloween is so close right now. I still don't know what I'm going as this year, and I always make my own costume--after all, that's probably 80% of the fun for me.
I looked at my costumes from previous years, and took inspiration from my favorite parts of each costume. In 2013, I went as a knight; I loved carrying the sword, and that...that was all. That's where the sword in this picture came from. I actually drew that sword myself! And I'm more proud of it than I thought I would be :D
In 2015 and 2017, I went as Scourge, from Warriors. (I only repeated the costume because it was so fun to make.) I enjoyed making the spiked collar out of construction paper, among other things that I couldn't find a way to implement into this.
In 2016, I went as a fallen angel. That's the most obvious reference for this drawing. I loved wearing the wings, and I also loved having darker hair, even if it was just temporary.
So I put those things together and formed this. I may very well go as this for Halloween of 2018, even though I'm not entirely sure what I could call it.
(Pay no attention to the little sky--I doodled it on a clear piece of the canvas because I thought my dad might glance at my screen. I don't like it when people look at what I'm drawing.)
