Lines aren't mine
I don't have any names for these two boys yet. But if anyone has any suggestions, on what I should call them, please let me know. Either through a pm or posting down below. Mostly looking for names with a meaning behind them.
I'm quite happy with how both these boys came out. Although, their designs might change a little in the future.
A bit about their species:
Both these boys have similar neck stripes, due to hailing from the same domain. They are known by the rest of their kind as desert dwellers, or 'bekilk ingellarari' in their native tongue. These types of shifters often prefer living within the most desolate of places. Choosing deserts and any other type of uninhabitable land to make their home. Forming small factions, and often keeping out of anything that may lead to conflict. Because of this, they have refused to pick a side within the never ending war on their planet. Making most other breeds of shifters view them as either cowards or traitors.
However, recently a small group of desert dwellers have decided to join the fight. Siding with the guardian alliance, over their darker counterpart. Among this group, are Aedan, a shifter with a rare mutation, and these two boys here. Of course, there are several others who joined. But these three are the most known.
A bit about them:
Leopard and cheetah spotted male - A full blooded desert dweller, and probably the most innocent out of the two. While there is no doubt that this boy can defend himself, he isn't quite as strong as his counterpart. Often making both his significant others worry about him greatly when fighting within a battle. Unlike his darker counterpart, this lovely child is an optimist and often tries to look on the brighter side to things. Even going out of his way to try and cheer someone up. Proving that despite being born in a war torn world, he is still surprisingly capable of being positive. Much to the annoyance of his darker companion, who sees this as being the one thing that will eventually lead to his demise. Both of his significant others, often like to give him nicknames that refer to his coat colour. One example being 'their little sunshine'.
Dark striped male - A half-breed, and definitely the most dangerous of the two. This boy is a cross between a desert dweller and a dark blood. Which explains why his coat colour is darker than other desert dwellers. However, he is the complete opposite of his brighter companion. This boy is mostly aggressive, and takes on a far more negative view on life. Finding it difficult to believe that the war raging on around him will ever end. Which can sometimes cause him to come to blows with his optimistic counterpart. However, despite his cold attitude and intimidating appearance. This child does care deeply about his significant others, and will even risk his life to defend them. He even cares about his allies. But due to being both incredibly guarded, and finding it difficult to trust others. He sometimes has trouble expressing these feelings. He isn't a massive fan of nicknames. However, both of his significant have came up with one that they only call him when out of earshot, 'night guardian'.
Their relationship:
Both boys are currently in a polyamorous relationship, with this lovely lady here, (#2). Who happens to be the leader of one of the five main factions of their world. However, because of this, many have come to believe that their relationship will eventually crumble. Mainly due to both the strain of the war and other personal reasons. But also because relationships of such sort between shifters never lasts long. Although, this is not the case with these three. In fact, all three find great comfort within one another's presence. Mainly because it brings them back down to solid ground, and helps distract them from their inner demons.
While they may not always get along with each other, and may sometimes end up arguing. They will always come to one another's aid. Proving to be quite a formidable force to be reckoned with when working together. However, when they aren't working to defeat their enemies, or checking borders and making sure their people are safe. They can often be found cuddling together. With the darker of the three watching over the other two while they slept.
Leopard and cheetah spotted male - the kinder and friendlier of the trio. He represents the more gentler side of his significant others, and is deeply adored by both. His more optimistic nature, helps remind the other two that they still have good in them. Although, he does grow slightly annoyed when they both try to force him to train with them.
Dark striped male - the aggressive and cynical of the trio. He represents the darker side of his significant others. His more negative nature, helps keep them from being deceived and on their toes. Although, when they are at their most vulnerable, there is no denying that he will be the first to quickly guide them away from the situation their in.
Nephina (name may change) - the wiser and more patient of the trio. She is the neutral between her boys, and therefore represents both sides equally. Often either intervening whenever an argument gets out of hand, or going out of her way to hunt down those who dare try to either threaten or harm her boys.
