A forest nymph meets a god of death. As one who usually creates and encourages life and growth, the nymph was understandably shaken by the encounter. The nymph was simply going on a stroll when it found the god, killing flowers and scaring off the animals. They watched the god from afar, hidden behind a tree; amazed. The god almost looked disappointed whenever a flower it tried to pick would wither away just as it’s hand brushed it gently. The nymph tried to get a better look, but tripped on the big tree’s roots, ultimately giving their presence away. The god turned around quickly and backed up a few steps, not wanting to get close to a sentient being just Incase. It’s one things to wilt the flowers, but another living thing is another story. The nymph curiously walked up to the god, making sure not to touch them but making sure they got a good look. After a quick look, the nymph looked at the god straight in the eyes and extended their arm. The god hesitantly reached a finger out in return. They looked back at each other and the god looked almost sad. The nymph smiled and then their hands met. There was a long pause, and neither of them moved. The god was scared, but the nymph smiled in response. The god couldn’t believe it, the nymph survived. The god started to cry, and the nymph gave them a hug, giving them reassurance.
