What are tignix? wrote:Tignix are big cats which share tiger-like features (head and leg shape) and cheetah-like features (body and tail shape, and non-retractable claws.) There are three different subspecies of tignix which live in different habitats: the mountain tignix, the forest tignix and the plains tignix. Unlike other mammals they have the ability to produce strong green and blue pigments and can come in a wide variety of colours. They are highly sociable and live in packs with a matriarch, a dominant male and several other subordinates within both genders, with cubs right at the bottom of the pecking order. The gender ratio within the packs is usually even since tignix mate for life.

Meaning and Explanation of Name: The name Coventina is depicted from the water goddess of the Celtic culture. It is known that she was looked upon as the queen of river Goddesses, particularly of the watershed where the Celtic believe the power of the river deity could be seen and its energy most keenly felt. She was most closely associated with England's Caldew River. Like other river deities, she represented abundance, inspiration, and prophecy. The coins offered to her appear to be sacrifices made in the hopes of sympathetic magick in which like attracts like. In Scotland she was also the Goddess of featherless flying creatures which may have represented some type of blockage to passing into the Otherworld. There is also evidence of her having been worshipped in Celtic Gaul where relief's have been found depicting her reclining on a floating leaf.
