i just gotta say Autumn, it's been amazing to see the improvement in your designs and edits in such a short amount of time!

okay, so i don't have names for these guys yet, but i have some ideas
- blue one is probably going to have a name centered around blue, river, ice, or sky
- grey one i'm thinking maybe Sebastian or something like that. maybe Domovoi [high five to all who get that reference and see the pattern in names for this dweeb]. basically just something appropriately badass.
both are male, though the left one likely gets mistaken for a female very frequently
mmm no their relationship/story totally isn't inspired by Artemis Fowl and Kuroshitsuji [Black Butler] idk what you're talking about
so i'm thinking that the blue babe is likely the son of a royal [i.e. like a prince or something probably] or the heir of some huge company/enterprise, though i'm certainly leaning much more toward the former [though it may be something of a combination of the two?]
he's young-ish [-ish because i'm thinking he could be anywhere from 8 to 21. maybe closer to 13-15].
innocent and naive, probably gets more involved with the "peasants" than his parents approve of. he's surprisingly generous and kind, despite his position as prince. many probably expect him to act like a spoiled, snobbish little brat once they hear he's a prince, but he turns that expectation completely on its head. he's surprisingly smart despite his youth, and oftentimes finds himself coming up with solutions to problems and explanations for bizarre circumstances that to him seem painfully obvious but that other's don't seem to see. he's quite talkative and forward most of the time, and always thinking about something. he loves to explore nature and roam the streets of the nearby town, and probably often got himself in to trouble [both on these adventures and with his parents when he got back]. they probably wouldn't be terribly impressed with these trips, but couldn't actually make him stop no matter what they tried, so they instead decided to at the very least assign one of their servants to supervise and protect him and make sure he doesn't get himself too badly hurt.

the grey nerd is a servant of the royal family the blue dweeb was born into, and was the one assigned to accompany him on his excursions into the world.
not sure of his exact/real age [still not sure quite what i want to do with him] but physically he appears to be anywhere from 27 to 31, but has the experience of someone at least 45-48
he's not completely normal. he has telepathic abilities, seemingly superhuman [supercanine?] speed, strength, agility, and stamina, and his eyes can change [shown above]. he's generally cold and indifferent, not really one for games or jokes. he would absolutely kill at a game of poker, as no one has ever seen him crack a smile yet and certainly no one has yet been able to breach his stony mask of indifference. his expression at almost all times is "poker face", and it's essentially impossible to guess what he's thinking or feeling at any given time. even if someone did finally manage to convince him to talk about how he feels, he wouldn't be able to give a clear answer as he tends to struggle with expressing himself, seeing as he's hidden that part of him almost his whole life. it's a common assumption that he doesn't really care about anyone or anything, and for the most part that's completely true. really the only exception is the blue nerd. even someone as tough and seemingly indifferent as this guy was eventually won over by his youthful charm. he dislikes needless banter, preferring to just cut straight to the point. really the only time he can tolerate it is from the blue pup, and even then sometimes only just barely. he's something of a clean freak, and in his spare time he can often be find cleaning messes and generally tidying up after people, or if everything is clean, meticulously arranging books, paintings, pictures, jewelry, whatever.
he was likely a soldier before his life as a servant, though no one really knows who he served for or what he fought in/for. it's generally assumed that he was severely injured in the fighting, and that's the reason his mouth is sewn shut. he has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors, as he does find it interesting to listen to these theories. it's also generally assumed that war is also the reason for his seeming indifference to the world and for his extreme strength of will. even if he is directly asked about his past and what happened, he won't answer. as far as he's concerned, that's no one's business but his own.
[still trying to come up for the real explanation for his powers, age, mutations, and mouth. might have something to do with supernatural beings? maybe something along the lines of a demon/devil. hell, maybe even a vampire/werewolf idk]
