These are so lovely <3 I'm glad for the chance to maybe adopt one. Quick question, are they first come first served, or will you be judging who gets what after a deadline?
Username: Sibilant
Pup Number: 5
Name: Axis
Gender: Female
Personality: Fun-loving and intelligent, this wolf aims to find happiness and satisfaction in everything she does. While she knows optimism isn't always the smartest way to think, and while she has seen some of the darker parts of the world in her travels, she feels that dwelling on the bad isn't going to let her live life to the fullest.
Extra:Songs:
Be OK by Ingrid Michaelson -- "Just give me back my pieces, and let me hold my broken parts."
Emphasis by Sleeping at Last -- "Though it pales in comparison to the overarching shadows, a speck of light can reignite the sun and swallow darkness whole."

The world is a harsh place, and Axis learned that the hard way.
When she was still just a pup, her best friend fell through the ice on a lake; he never resurfaced. When she was older, she found herself lost and far away from her family; she never found them again. She spent seasons living on her own, learning that the world would never feed her, would never find her water, would never provide her shelter of its own volition. The world didn't care that she was struggling to survive; she had to survive on her own.
She could have hardened her feelings against the world, never showed weakness. She could have become rigid and cold. But for as much ugly she encountered in the world, she also encountered beauty.
She encountered fireflies on a warm summer night, blinking and floating and looking like stars come to earth. She discovered the fresh scent of mountain air, the sweet dew on leaves in the early morning, the dazzling beauty of each and every sunset. She discovered that a rainbow follows a rainstorm, that the sun will always reappear, that even when darkness is overwhelming, there is always a morning on the other side.
The world may be harsh, Axis learned, but it isn't unnecessarily cruel. Without the low points, she would never get to enjoy the high points. Her past was difficult, but she survived it, and came out better on the other side.
