**DarkKit was a curious, fun kit who seemed to be a pushover to his litter-mates and other kids sharing the nursery. His parents weren't so impressed on this small kit, unlike the others, was so bright and fun (DarkKits fams bloodline wasn't the nicest). So his parents brought DarkKit to his uncle, AcornBranch, a mean old cat who was horrible! AcornBranch taught DarkKit how to lie, hurt others, and one time taught DarkKit how to hunt late at night when others couldn't see them. So whenever the shadowy training ended, DarkKit went back to the nursery to his parents. Of course, DarkKit was quiet, shadowy and mysterious. Almost never had a shine of curiosity in his eyes, jumped around with nice kits, he would always sit in the dark corners sleeping or have his piercing yellow eyes flash.
**When DarkKit became DarkPaw, he got his mentor, SkunkShimmer, a nice she-cat who was young and bright. She wasn't very impressed seeing how DarkPaw would walk slowly with this mad look on his face. When training began, SkunkShimmer had an idea! She asked DarkPaw how life was as a kit and he told her. He told her all right. 'Well, I used to be as bright and incomplete as you. But once my Uncle AcornBranch took me in and taught me how to be a real cat, here I am, perfect.'. Obviously, SkunkShimmer took it as a shock and started to tell him how his uncle was wrong and DarkPaw believed her. Soon he became happy-go-lucky and was a VERY fast learner! They had the perfect time together!
**Moons past and DarkPaw was learning his last lesson before he went to get his warrior name. SkunkShimmer seemed a bit older, but was very proud of DarkPaws training. On that day, Rogues and Loners attacked, not knowing why, SkunkShimmer went to try and reason, but to no avail, they attacked. Once she realised, it was too late.. SkunkShimmer died. DarkPaw was devastated and killed the Rogues and Loners that killed her and went to grieve at his mentors body. Tears streaming down his face and whispered "How dare you die on me. I thought you were the strongest cat in the clan! But now I realised it. You were just a weak cat who had to DIE in front of her apprentice!". He sat there, at her body, for just a couple more seconds, turned his body away while flicking his tail and went back into the camp to say the news. Some were sad, devastated, but his family seemed a bit happy because that day.. DarkPaw became the quiet and rude cat he once was.
**That night, the clan retrieved SkunkShimmers body and DarkPaw recieved his warrior name, DarkFang. For tearing up those rogues and loners with his fangs. Up till now, he blames himself for going with a weak mentor and never wants to see his tainted family ever again.
