Why is it's hair checkered? Unbeknownst to the other Firewing, Tiki was born with a strange pigmentation problem that affected none other than his hair. The problem, scientifically known as checratais, is very rare and affects very few Firewing.
Why are it's eyes blank? Tiki was always teased for having blank eyes- but he's blind. The way the blindness affects him is different from most Firewing.
Why does it have the markings?: It's simply genetics. However, some of the markings are affected by his pigmentation issue.
