About the eyes: She has three eyes, and two are closed, because she was born without two of her eyes, and through the magic of her mother the third eye was formed up there. Now, it's not a true eye in the sense of the eyes you and I have, but a magical presence that uses something like psychic power to tell Morgana what she is looking at, smelling, tasting, etc. Pretty neat, no?
