This looked like a puppy. Now from the looks of it, you either don't have pen pressure OR your using a mouse. I used to use a mouse a long time ago, and the best tool for using the mouse is the curve lined tool While I'm sure you got that down but I should mention- don't go for the outline first. Start with the bones. Several circles like above, lines where you think you need them.then when your ready to do the outline, erase the extra lines you dont need and trace the ones you do. It's different for every breed of dog, I did a standard lab (as a lot of dogs look like this) you should look at different breeds for different things.
Adult dogs will have smaller eyes, longer noses ears will be more proportionate, tail will be longer, legs will grow into the feet, and will be longer,
heres my step by step if you'd like.
1. draw the head circle, shoulder and but circle.
2. Draw the nose, connect the neck to the shoulder and the shoulder to the hind circles
3. draw the legs, then the tail bone.
4. outline this all then erase unnecessary lines
5. Trace the lines you want to keep. add little details like nose, mouth, pupil, toes, fur.
I added you so you could play with this if you want, just make sure to credit me for the base.
