He's not the king of the pride, but as thei heir is only a cub and his father (the cub's) is on his death-bed; Jahidi is in charge of making sure the pride is okay until the heir comes of age, it's not his favorite job as he is more of a spiritual lion than a leading lion - but he tries to do his best!
