At last, 'tis done! After accidentally falling prey to an Oekaki glitch and losing all my progress, he has been rebuilt to all his glory.
This is my first original fanimatronic! He doesn't really have a full name now, but his nickname is Doc. It doesn't naturally fit the alliteration patterns, but I guess we could call him Doc the Dog, that would fit ;3
He's a German Shepherd (Yeah ik a canine wooooo original. At least he's not a wolf tho), and as you can see, he has a central theme to him.
The idea behind Doc's creation was that many young children fear visits to the doctor/dentist, so he was created as a friendly mascot to help alleviate those fears. He is portrayed as a caring, diligent, polite, and cheerful representation of a doctor, with round glasses, a stethoscope, and a doctor's bag. Unlike most of the other animatronics, he wears clothing, though usually no more than a long white coat. His eyes are teal blue, and his fur is fairly standard in color. He is supposed to help educate children on basic health habits in a school nurse kind of way (Wash your hands, cough into your elbow, etc.).
He is programmed to handle a number of basic first aid situations, and recognize basic signs of sickness, distress, asthma attacks, anaphylactic reactions, etc. He actually has a functioning forehead thermometer in his right palm (An expensive upgrade), which he presses against a child's forehead and is programmed with a number of designated reactions to various temperatures ("You feel alright to me, kiddo!" - "You feel just a tiny bit warm." - "You feel very warm. You have a fever. - "You feel very sick. You have a dangerous fever, your parents should take you to a hospital."). He does other things too, like giving kids bright little band-aids for cuts and scrapes, comforting them, and kneeling down to give them an enthusiastic clean bill of health. His routine often involves close interaction with the kids, which was a concern for his creators, but so far he has done no harm.
