Story: As a kitten, Thistle was a stray. The poor little girl was abandoned when animal control took her mother, left with her brothers. Her brothers died, however, yet Thistle was a fighter. She would whine and whine until a person passed by her one day, picking her up.
"Oh, hello, pretty kitty," the boy said happily. "Don't worry, girly, I know how it feels to be alone."
The boy took Thistle home and raised her, even bothering to bottle feed her every two hours. She grew up to be his best friend, getting a collar of his favorite color. Her favorite memory was how warm it was, and still is, when she sleeps on the boy's chest or stomach.
Extra: Thistle's tail is shorter than average because it had a bad kink to where vets needed to amputate it.
