Oh my, what's this?
A little creature found in the forest all alone? Where's your parents, little fella? Don't worry, I'll take care of you.
Name: Dawn
Species: Notion
Gender: Female
Born: September 17 2014
Found: October 13 2014, age 3 weeks 5 days
Captured: 6 hours after finding [When she got tired of running]
Age, as of Oct. 24 2014 [each day she gets older by one day]: 5 weeks 2 days
Master: Rancid
Parents: Unknown, abandoned her when she had an encounter with a cougar. She managed to hide from the big cat and survive when it's scent had covered her own. Unfortunately this meant that her parents could not track her scent down, but they did see her from a distance but would not approach because she smelled like cougar. She was rejected by them the same way a bird rejects a chick if it smells like human.
Littermates: Is not in contact with them [I will add later]
Features: Antlers that resemble an antelope's
0-2 weeks: Faded colour, pink nose and eyelids. Spots on back[rear] for camouflage. White claws, thick lines on eyes to lessen the glare of the sun to her weak eyes [opened at day 4, ears at 2] much like a cheetah.
2-6 weeks: Fawn spots, stripes on face, spots and stripes on front legs disappear, front claws begin to turn dark, fur on the top of her head parts to let horns grow, a very small tail grows [too small to be seen]
6-9 weeks: Stumpy horns appear, fawn spots fade, stripes on back become more apparent, face markings start to disappear, a small tail emerges, pink on nose and eyelids turn to white, a gear design on hind legs appear, front claws get darker, stripe on muzzle fades
9 weeks-6 months: Antlers are matured, though they will continue to get longer. Colours are bright and eyes become vibrant. Tail develops a design, front claws are fully brown, muzzle stripe completely disappears
I hope it's okay that I made some newborn lines. And the ages are not for the entire species, just for this girl in particular her design changes through her age.
