Long-Horned Derls, or plainly Derls, are highly evolved dragons
who developed long horns that carry sacred, rare pearls, and a fish-
like fin. Like regular Dragons, they have wings. Scientists say that
they are probably part cat, dragon and fish, but with recent research,
they have found out they are actually very closely related to the
Horned Lark, and the Moose. These peaceful creatures are found
anywhere there is mountains to perch on. They prey on small insects
and stubby shrubs.
These creatures form small "pride-like" groups. There is the Dominate
male and female, who rule the pride. They do not hunt, or protect the pride.
They just keep it in order. The Dominates get first pick for food, and can
kick, or accept anyone into/out of the pride.
The next rank is the Gatherers. They go outside into nature and pick shrub
leaves for the rest of the pride to feed on. Occasionally, they bring in large
insects.
The next rank is the Guarders. They protect the pride from other groups,
or cub-stealing animals. These Derls are greatly honored, and never are
mistreated.
Arg! Work In Progress. Parents are so freaking annoying.
