That's his name. If you want to read the story on him, please read the book "Flawed Dogs" by Berkeley Breathed.
Sam the Lion isn't mine, he's just based off of the charrie in the book.

He lost his leg in a bear trap, and when the owners of the bear trap found him they tied a silver spoon to his leg. That spoon pretty much helped Sam walk again.

Oh I love Berkeley Breathed! I haven't seen this book, though, only the bloom county comics he does.

They're pretty adorable

The main character is a penguin named Opus and he and all the other animals run for mayor and crazy stuff like that lol.
