Well, all I know is that Dovahkiin means Dragonborn and the Dragonborn needs to kill the dragon Alduin...
Really I think her name is ironic.
I'll explain.

Dovahkiin means Drgonborn, and the Dragonborn is associated with killing dragons.
Well, it's ironic because she is half dragon, as you can tell by her wings, and she can breathe fire.
During several points in her life, she protected dragons from harm, and even sided with them.
The first time was with the "Dragonets of Destiny" ( Wings of Fire ), ans she protected them from other dragons. Namely queens.
The second time was during the war between the Varden and Galbatorix ( Inheritance series ), and one of her friends was friends with a person bonded to a dragon, and she helped to protect the dragon.
She is involved up to her neck with dragons.
It's ironic because the Dragonborn is supposed to kill dragons. She is helping them.

Anyways, if you actually want to know the stories behind her scars, just post with a description of where the scars are and kind of what they look like. Also, there are some scars that you may not know that she has...
