Spark and Horizon gaze down at their single pup. One had been still-born, and the other had been barely alive. They had frantically awoken the little pup, fearing it would die. A few days later, the young family was still mourning the loss of their second pup. The good news was the little flicker of life that had entered the world was now an energetic flame. She had a rainbow belly with spiked white lines trailing down its sides. Her paws were white with a strip of vivid pink. Her tail had two stripes and three dots and the tip was white. Later, she grew two more dark gray tails with the same white pattern. Upon her shoulder was a white hornet marking. Her ears were gray and the insides pink. Her eyes were the same fiery hue. She had a crown of flame-like hair on her head, and a pair of white wings that floated over her shoulders. Her father had made her a black and white tail ribbon, three now, all exactly the same. The still born pup had been a dark gray female with a thick scattering of rainbow spots. Her tail, belly, muzzle, and paws had been white as the snow outside. Her paws had a scattering of thick white spots over them, and her inner ears were white. The creepiest aspect of her pattern was her eyes were white, and she did not have the normal runes that pups born to Spark and Flash had. Her hair was dark gray with gray and white spots. Her wings were the same. She only had one tail.

Pup 1 belongs to Amanda Role Player. Pup 2 is mine. It is not often that something like this happens, the writing or the dead pup. She's really a ghost now.
