You're walking into your friend's house for a lovely Christmas Eve meal, already quite glad to be out of the cold. As you pull off your coat and admire the shimmering lights of the large Christmas tree, the scent of freshly-baked foods drifting toward you from the kitchen, something brushes against your ankles. You glance down and see a small, fluffy cream-colored cat staring up at you unabashedly with adorable teal eyes. "Huh?" You stare at it for a moment until it bobs it's head expectantly. You hold out your hand, and it drops a freshly plucked flower into it, then purrs happily and darts away to find its owner.
