The white she-wolf was sitting on a rock. The snow had been cleared off the face of it, and her tail was curled around her paws so it wouldn't lie in the cold snow. She was watching the falling snow silently, watching a female cardinal flutter through the trees. She let out a sigh, the soft sound echoing through the silent trees.
"Mistle?"
She whipped around, not expecting his voice. "Oh, hi, Streak."
"Sorry, I didn't meant to scare you," He apologized, padding up beside the rock. "So, you ok?"
Mistletoe nodded. "I'm fine."
Streak followed her gaze to the cardinal in the trees. It fluttered down onto the ground, pecking at something. The brute crouched down, pushing through the snow.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
He turned to look at her. "Come on," he whipsered with a smile. "Come on!"
She smiled, leaping off the rock into the snow. She slunk through the snow beside him, slowly shortening the gap between the two wolves and the bird. Once they got to the treeline, the bird suddenly took flight. Streak burst up beside her, chasing after it.
"You won't catch it!" Mistletoe yelled after him.
"I can try!"
She shook her head and ran after him. By the time she caught up with him, the bird was far out infront of him, way out of reach. "You're so slow," he said, looking back at her with a mischevious glint in his red eyes.
"You're too fast!" She responded.
"That's why I'm going to get the bird," He replied.
"No you won't,"
"Wanna bet?" He asked, running faster and pulling away.
"Yeah!" She pushed harder on the snow, catching up with him.
It wasn't long before the cardinal was long forgotten. She matched him paw for paw, the forest surrounding them becoming a blurr. They kicked up a blizzard of snow, flinging it out behind them with their churning paws. Then the forest ended, the skidded to a hault, knowing that the land ended in a sudden cliff. The cardinal fluttered in a pine tree next to the cliff, now with a male.
Streak panted, padding to the edge of the cliff and dropping down with a thump. Mistletoe followed him, lying down beside him in the snow.

Here's a continuation (word???) of the story I wrote on Lost. You might want to read that if this is going to make sense. I'm really proud of how this turned out. The brown one is Streak and the white one is Mistletoe, if you didn't know. Sadly, the marking is on her right shoulder, so it isn't here. I especially love the backround. It turned out really well, if I do say so. Well, I'd appreciate feedback!
