Ransom Note was wild as a young colt. Ransom was stolen by the race track owner because his mothers box rent was not paid. The race track owner then sent a randsom note to the colts owner saying if he wanted hom back he needed the box rent and five thousand dollars for the colt. The old owner refused the note due to the colts wild behavior and inability to be trained. The race track owner, determined to break this horse early for racing, threw on a saddle at the Ransoms young 2 years. Ransom had always been big for his age and bucked hard, leaving saddle marks in the process. The race track owner, now defeated by Ransoms wild spirit, sold the horse to slaughter. But refusing to slaughter such a lovely and free spirit he sold him to CottonWood Ranch. Where young Aspyn has come to adopt and love him. Will she recieve the horse? That is for you to answer!

Personality:
Due to the saddle incident, it is hard to gain poor Wind's trust. But once you gain it, he'll be your best friend. He'll protect you, fight for you, and love you. He's an amazing all-around horse, specializing in Barrel Racing, Cutting, Roping, and Cross-Country. He's not very good at Dressage though, because being part Thoroughbred makes him high-strung, and energetic. If you keep him reined in, he becomes prancy. He's not ideal for long distance racing because the Quarter Horse in him gives him speed... but no stamina. He loves carrots and sygar cubes, and doesn't like it if someone he distrusts tries to touch his back, mount him, or saddle him.

Why The Saddle Marks Exist:
When Wind was still very young, his owners tried to train him. The owners he had were originally creul, and when Wind fought back, they punished him by never taking off his saddle or bridle, and hid him deep in the woods for years, the saddle and bridle becoming embedded, The owners were arrested for animal creulty, but no one found Wind. It was not until shortly after that an officer wandered back there and found him. They tanquilized him and brought him to the ASPCA, then performed surgery to cut off the embedded tack. They kept him for a few months, and his bridle marks and most of his saddle marks healed. The vet said that the rest of the marks were there forever, scars. Cottonwood Ranch took him, and now he's up for adoption to a good home. :3
