Why is she cursed to catch on fire?; Being born to one of the fierce tribes of the Cali(call-ee)(vicious wolf dogs that roam the desserts of egypt and have the power to call upon the gods.) She lived in a large tribe/community of Cali, All her friends were outstanding cali known throughout the tribes, But Safhari was unnoticed. She didn't have anything special about her, she wasn't amazing looking, she wasn't a great fighter, she wasn't the best hunter, and she didn't have any special powers like the rest of her tribe. Angry and scorned for her normality she went to the temple of the gods to think. As she walked along the corridors, she heard a voice. "I can make you noticed." it said, "I can make you brighter the the eastern stars." Safhari turned to find a long dark corridor stretched before her. cautiously she ventured down it. After what seemed like hours she found herself in a room bathed in red light. A frighteningly familiar statue stood before her. It was the statue of set, the god of chaos. "contact me." a eerie voice echoed through the room. Safhari stood there, she had heard the nursery stories of set when she was a pup, how he had destroyed osiris and enticed mortals into doing the most wicked deeds. she wavered uneasily. Then the voice came again,this time not from the room but inside her head "contact me and i can make you known throughout the land, you will be beautiful." Safhari stood there in silence. then she raised her head and wispered. "I call upon set, god of chaos."(since i dont have time to write out the whole story i'll give you the short version ) When safhari contacted set, he told her that he would make her noticed if she would do something for him, The task she agreed to doing was to retrive the Khepri bracelet from the pharaoh Khufu's tomb. she did so, And in return he gave her the ability to catch fire. Safhari knew she had been tricked, but there was nothing she could do about it, She often catches fire when she is angered or in stressful situations, when she catches fire it doesn't hurt her but does make her very hot. and she often catches fire while she's sleeping. After accidentally setting A small dessert oasis that she stayed at for the night on her way back from the temple ablaze She decided to constantly travel to avoid drawing attention to herself and hurting the ones she loves. She is currently Searching for the temple of Kebechet (the goddess of purification and water) in hopes that she will lift her curse.
Personality; she is smart strong and quiet, she likes to be alone but is not afraid to be heard. Tends to have a terrible temper

Why is he/she cursed to catch on fire?; Balder had always had a knack with fire, being able to make one out of seemingly nothing. No one knows where the ability came from, not even Balder. Some thought it was because his parents died in a fire, others thought it was because his home in the forest had caught fire and left him homeless. Whatever it was, it was perhaps this ability and the history behind it that in his first lifetime, made him a serial arsonist. His blazes were always front page news and as his record grew, it burned fear into the hearts of those who lived in the areas where he had torched. It wasn't long before he found himself holding an exceptionally record of having torched over 200 buildings and fields, it was something that he had prided himself on for having accomplishing. One of the last places that he had torched during his first life was an orphanage; in that particular blaze he had killed several innocent children who had only wanted to find a home and somebody to love them. It was shortly after that blaze had been extinguished did he find that his own life had been simultaneously extinguished as well; having been sent for immediate judgment for his crimes. The judgment didn't last too long and when it was finally over, the verdict was announced. It was declared that as his crimes weighed too heavy for him to be permitted entrance anywhere, he would have to be punished in some way to make him either make up for his crimes or be sent to the underworld. This was the choice that they gave him. Thinking he was getting off easy and getting a "get out of jail free" card, he took the punishment. Little did he know at the time that the punishment entailed that for his crimes he was to be cursed. Cursed to not only be reborn until he had learned to mend his ways, but to also miraculously catch fire whenever he lied, committed a crime (no matter how small), or even attempted to make a fire for the pure pleasure of watching something burn. Even if he is simply lighting a match or a lighter just to see the flames dance before his eyes. Currently this is his first reincarnation and he still has a lot to learn before he will be permitted into either realm.
Personality; Balder's current personality (first reincarnation) is one that is multi-faceted. He has a fiery temper, angry at the world when he should be angry with himself. He is silent when around others, often wanting to avoid making friends and risking them getting burned or risking getting criticized by them. He's cranky and mean and exceptionally anti-social.
Other; Not that I can think of at the moment, though I may add even more soon. :3

i was wondering, is catching fire a power, a painful punishment than comes on her, something that happens when she gets mad, or is it like how shes going to die? or is it mine to decide? :3 sorry im too thoughtful about these things.
