History: Brownie was watching the pup that arived late last night. It was 10:30, the pup had missed breakfast but Brownie saved some of her food and planned on giving to her. The pup woke up. She looked confused. "I rember going to sleep with my liter-mates and Mom, in warm cozy basket." She mumbled. Brownie got up and walked over to the pup's cage, then sat down. "Don't worry, little one. You won't be here long. People always pick the puppies." Brownie said sadly. "Where is 'here'? I went to sleep with my family, at home." Cocao asked. "The Pound." Brownie replied. "Here, I bet you're hungry." Brownie nudged her half-full bowl towards the fence between them.
A few days later, someone came and looked at the dogs in the Pound. Then she stoped at the cage next to Brownie's cage. The pupp'ys cage."Hi there, little one." The person said in a sweet voice. "Do you want to come home with me?" the pup wagged her tail. Then she looked at Brownie in the cage next to her. She'd said: "They always pick the puppies. I've been here for ten months." The pup backed away from the person and sat down next Brownie. "What are you doing?!?" Brownie hissed. "You helped me, and kept me company. I'm not leaving without you." The pup replied. "I'll take these two." the person said.
Brownie and Cocoa now live happily with their new owner.
